CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

We are expanding our service department at The Boat Center in Chippewa Falls, WI. We are looking to add a marine service advisor to our service team to better serve the Chippewa Valley’s marine needs.

Our ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Sufficient computer skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with dealer management system. Lightspeed EVO
  • Work under an incentivized bonus-pay structure
  • Some experience in the fishing/marine industry
  • Ability to work in a positive, process driven, structured environment
  • Desire to continue education and training

Marine Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Creating repair orders
  • Scheduling jobs for technicians
  • Parts lookup
  • Communication with customers via text, email, and phone.
  • Cashiering
  • Customer service

We are expanding our service department at The Boat Center in Chippewa Falls, WI. We are looking to add Shop Assistant to our service team to better serve the Chippewa Valley’s marine needs.

This position is responsible for:

  • Assisting technicians and service advisors
  • Completing various tasks in the shop
  • Cleaning and organizing shop areas
  • Performing light mechanical tasks
  • Some grounds care: Snow removal, lot cleaning, etc.

Our ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn through experience
  • Experience with operating small tractors or machinery
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a face pace environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service writers and service manager
  • Ability to work in a positive, process driven, structured environment
  • A desire to continue education and training

We are expanding our service department at The Boat Center in Chippewa Falls, WI. We are looking to add a marine service technician to our service team to better serve the Chippewa Valley’s marine needs.

Our ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Degree, certified, or 5 years’ experience in outboard and I/O maintenance/repairs
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot engine issues timely and accurately
  • Able to communicate effectively with service writers and service manager
  • Familiar with Lightspeed EVO
  • Work under an incentivized bonus-pay structure
  • Able to rig and PDI new boats
  • Strong ability to work in a positive, process driven, structured environment
  • Desire to continue education and training.

Marine Technician Responsibilities

  • Outboard and I/O maintenance and repair
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic
  • Parts lookup and documentation
  • Make preventative maintenance recommendations
  • Boat accessory repair and installation
  • Service inspections

We are expanding our service department at The Boat Center in Chippewa Falls, WI. We are looking to add Lot Manager to our service team to better serve the Chippewa Valley’s marine needs.

This position is responsible for:

  • Moving boats in and out of the shop
  • Organizing new, used, and service boats on the dealership grounds
  • Unloading new boats on incoming transports.
  • Some grounds care: Snow removal, lot cleaning, etc.

Our ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Experience with operating small tractors or machinery
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a face pace environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service writers and service manager
  • Ability to work in a positive, process driven, structured environment
